Marijn Thijs

marijn3Marijn Thijs is the youngest and the tallest journalism student you can find in Groningen. After spending his early years in Maartensdijk (a quiet village in the province of Utrecht), he studied Liberal Arts in Middelburg, focusing mainly on economics, linguistics and history.

He’d like to combine his passion for sports (he played korfball for 14 years) with his natural attitude for current affairs to become a foreign correspondent. In the meanwhile, Marijn will keep cultivating his interests and avoiding the elevators (he always takes the stairs).

You can find him on Twitter, @MarijnThijs, or through
